Born 1970 British Virgin Islands.

Christie studied at The School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston U.S. before moving to London to study Art History and later work as a muralist and set painter.

She now lives with her family on the Isle of Wight where she works from her studio by the sea. Working mainly in Acrylic paint mixed with gesso to create a flat texture, her still life’s celebrate the everyday rituals and settings of home. This limited palette, influenced by the colours and texture of the nearby chalky coastline, is often balanced by the ever present influence of her memories of a vibrant tropical childhood.
